Romans 5:17 NLT [17] For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.

Remember that your performance and good behaviour is not what is keeping you in right relationship with God right now. Neither are the mistakes that you've made keeping you in bad relationship with Him. Good before God is a product of a good nature. One that is renewed. So too is bad. If you believe and confess the Lord Jesus, you are good before God. The reason is because you have completely depended on the obedience of Jesus more than yours to please God. Romans 5:17 NLT [17] For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. When God sees you, he sees Jesus. He took your place in sin, so you can have His place and enjoy the relationship he had with God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 MSG [21] How? you ask. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God. Please stop being confident in your ability to influence how God sees you. He loves you for nothing. That's how good He is. Remember that you have a nature that causes you to do right. Let that be the truth you accept so that you can live that way. PRAYER: Thank you Lord for giving me your nature which permits me to live right. I come boldly, not because of my own righteousness but because of the sacrifice of Jesus. I walk therefore, in the newness of life that you have made available for me. Amen
