Fellowship With The Word
Psalms 91:9-12 NKJV [9] Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, [10] No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; [11] For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. [12] In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

One of the greatest pursuits common to humanity is security. Whether physically, emotionally, financially, or otherwise. But the safest place to be is in Christ. The reason David can say "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil" is because he knows "Thou art with me." When you KNOW Who is with you, fear has no hold on you. Your confidence in the face of life's challenges is a function of this. It's rather unfortunate that for many, the first to be ditched and the last to be consulted in the troubled times is the One who Himself is the solution. John says "... YOU ARE OF GOD, little children and have overcome them, for GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU than he that is in the world" (1 John 4v4). Because He's your dwelling place, no evil or plague befalls you. This should be your daily conviction and confession. Christ is your current location, from the moment you believed in His death, burial, and resurrection, and confessed His Lordship. He's also your life. Not only does He live in you, you live in Him. Oh! What grace and love. Think about it! Acts 17:28 NKJV [28] for in Him we live and move and have our being... Colossians 3:3-4 NKJV [3] For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. [4] When CHRIST WHO IS OUR LIFE appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Ponder on the marvelous expression of his grace. That you live in him and he lives in you and gives you his life to live above the systems and circumstances of this world. And most especially to fellowship with Him. Be encouraged and stay Christ-informed and conscious! Prayer: Father, I’m eternally grateful for the eternal security that I have in you because of Christ. I acknowledge that Christ is my life, and that I am hidden in Him and He lives in me. I appreciate the depth of grace and love you lavished on me. I am secured in your love, Lord.
