Fellowship With The Word
I John 5:11 NKJV “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.”

I was thinking about the life God has given us in Christ and I was driven in thought to how some of our parents gave everything for us to be where we are. We witnessed their sacrifices and we saw bitter sweat from their efforts, sometimes just to have a meal. Their strength and motivation were that when they see their kids be where they couldn't be and do what they couldn't do, they'd be happy just knowing that they succeeded. But if after all their sacrifices they see that the children don't live up to the sacrifice, it hurts. In like manner When you consider the sufferings and the sacrifice of Jesus, we just can't afford to live less than what the sacrifice procured for us. God's intention besides fellowship with humanity, was to have man rule the earth in his stead. Consider what it could feel like for God to see his children live less than what the sacrifice procured. We can only live the Christian life by knowledge. Discovering and engaging that life and nature we received. It's a journey. So please prioritize your fellowship of the word so as to discover and uncover this life in Christ. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I acknowledge every sacrifice you made so I could have a relationship with you. Thank you for the gift of yourself. Help me prioritize my fellowship with you oh Lord. May my life be constantly at your feet and may it produce fruit that transcend beyond time. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
