Christ is the most remarkable character of the scriptures to study. There is a statement he made that stands out from John 5:19-20 NKJV [19] Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. [20] For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. This just made me to think about what Paul said in... Ephesians 5:1 NKJV [1] Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. We are not in the dark as to what it means to imitate God if we already have the life of Christ in the scriptures. Jesus is the Model of Perfection and he's worth emulating. Scripture says Hebrews 6:12 NKJV [12] that you do not become sluggish but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Don't just stop at Desiring to live like Christ but acknowledge that he gave you the nature you needed to live like Him. So, you can see the result that he saw and why not even Greater Works than what he did. That's how we show we are ambassadors. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank you for your word that has come to me today. I acknowledge that you have given me the nature and your mind to enable me to live like you. As I give myself to your word, I walk boldly in the life that you have called me to live, and I fulfil your purpose for my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
