The verse above may appear simple, but it's always worth thinking on. The greatest gift and privilege known to humanity is captured in this verse. And it is that Christ has chosen to take residence in man. Please if you can, pause for a minute or two and think on this. It is the most mind-blowing reality or wonder known to man. That the creator of the heavens and the earth will look at everything he created and he will choose man to dwell in him. The implication of this is verse is profound when you contemplate the authority that has been given to the believer. Colossians 1:27 NLT [27] For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. I'm not sure what you think that makes you. But it's anything else but ordinary. I Kings 8:27 NKJV But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!” Solomon said that the heavens and the heavens of the heavens cannot contain God. But all of God dwells in the Spirit of the believer which means that your spirit is greater than the rest of the universe. The whole universe cannot contain God, yet God is contained in your spirit, so you are greater than anything in this world. Begin to see yourself in Christ and see Christ in you. Talk like it and live like it. Friend, that is GRACE!!! PRAYER: Father, thank you for choosing me as your dwelling place. Thank you for the privilege and honour to host your spirit. Help me to stay conscious of this truth and may it cause me to walk fully in the consciousness of the life that you have set before me. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
