Because of God's impartial desire for every one of his children to know him, He gave us his Spirit. And as you read through let your deep-seated consideration be that THIS SPIRIT LIVES IN ME WITH ALL HE HAS TO OFFER. The Holy Spirit in us gives us the capacity to understand the word. He’s the revealer of the mind of God and the things freely given to us. He is God's compass to you. He is the custodian of the mind and reasoning of God. The scripture says that no man knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:11 TPT puts it like this [11] After all, who can really see into a person’s heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person’s spirit? So, it is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by his Spirit, the Spirit of God. But what better news could there be than that we received the Spirit which is of God so we might KNOW the things FREELY GIVEN to us of God? 1 Corinthians 2:12 TPT [12] For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us. These are the things which we speak and preach, of course not with words which man's wisdom teaches but with words the Holy Ghost teaches. And natural men cannot receive it because they are spiritually discerned and not carnally discerned. It is foolishness to them. But because you're born of the spirit, your born spiritually perceptive. You're not a natural man. And we have the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2v16). We have his perceptions and computations. The understanding of Christ. Please I'd like us to catch this or see it deeper... if you have the Spirit of God in you, have access. You are abundantly rich in grace, in peace, in mercy from God, in faith, in life(zoe) and much more. You have the perceptions of Christ. 2 Peter 1:2 AMPC [2] May grace (God's favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. All of God riches abound to you in knowledge. PRAYER: Dear Lord Jesus, when I contemplate the extent of your extravagant love for me, I am filled with so much gratitude. Thank you for eternal life, thank you for your supernatural life at work in me and thank me for giving me your mind so that I can know you. As I grow in the knowledge of you, I see myself and my heart burns with more love for you. Be always glorified in my life. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
